Salah Troudi is a graduate of The University of Tunis,
AstonUniversity in the UK and FloridaStateUniversity where he
received his PhD in Curriculum instruction and TESOL. He is
currently a member of the academic staff at the Graduate School of
Education, University of Exeter,UK
where he teaches in the Masters, EdD and PhD TESOL programmes. He is
the director of the Exeter TESOL doctoral programme in Dubai. His teaching and research interests
include language teacher education, curriculum in TESOL and foreign
languages, critical issues in language education, language of
instruction policy and classroom-based research. He has published
research studies and papers in several TESOL and language education
journals and chapters in edited volumes. He is one of the editors of
Evaluating Teacher Effectiveness in ESL/EFL Contexts published by
The University of Michigan Press in 2007. Salah supervises doctoral
students from different parts of the world in a number of research
areas in language education. He is also an editor and reviewer of
academic publications in the UAE and Malaysia. He has taught in Tunisia, the USA
and the United
Arab Emirates.
