EAP / ESP SIG

EAP/ESP English for Professionals and in Tertiary Education Special Interest Group

AIMS:
To bring together English Language Teachers who are interested in or active in the field of English for Professionals and in Tertiary Education.

To promote the exchange of ideas and encourage discussions related to various issues in the field of teaching and research in EAP/ESP.

To introduce co-operation among SIG members through joint research projects in EAP/ESP.

INTERESTS:
Participation in TESOL Greece events [the Big SIG Event in November, the Spring International TESOL Greece Conference, etc]

Publication of Articles on EAP/ESP issues in the TESOL Newsletter sent to all TESOL members.

Exchange of ideas in informal meetings with other EAP/ESP members on the day of events organized by TESOL.

Organisation of other events supported by TESOL Greece, but focusing specifically on areas of EAP/ESP.

SOCIAL NETWORKING:
A Facebook group has been created for all ELT professionals [either TESOL Greece members or not] specifically catering for the needs of communication and networking for EAP/ESP.
